Courier service provider AIR21 has been designated by the U.S. Embassy to deliver American passports, passports with visa, application packets and other visa-related documents out of the embassy’s consular section from within the Philippines vicinity beginning February 2009.

U.S. Consul-General Richard Haynes, AIR21 President and Chief Operating Officer Angelito Alvarez, NIV Unit Chief Karen Christensen, Management Counselor Cassy Ebert-Gray and AIR21 Chairman Alberto D. Lina inaugurated the service with a ribbon cutting ceremony on February 18.

One of the conditions of the US Embassy to become their authorized courier is to have a secure on-line tracking system.  On December 2008, RedMedia has been tasked to design a specific site page then develop and integrate the interface with AIR21′s secure database.

“RedMedia has a proven track record for site design and has the development personnel capable of meeting the tight deadline”, said Tere Eisma, AIR21′s Head of Information Technology.

The AIR21 US Embassy client tracking system has a refreshing and distinct design that is unique only to Philippines residents and visitors.

“We wanted something that says welcome instead of go away”, says RedMedia Managing Partner Mike Abasolo.  “We do not want that traditional look that local site developers have been accustomed to doing, we wanted some ground breaking elements to it, Mike Abasolo added.
